Another late site update, but better late than never! Congrats to Paul P for his first place finish at Event 9, No Limit Hold'em. Paul took the top spot of the night in round 16, along with 7 hits on the evening. Second place was claimed by Greg S who had 8 hits on the evening. James R collected the third spot with 2 hits, and Foster R capped off the top four, also with 2 hits. The Event 7 bounty on Joseph W was collected by Paul, and the Event 8 bounty on Brian W was collected by James R. Paul also held high hand of the evening with kings full of jacks. Event 8 Results From April 21 - Event 9 Info

It's been almost 2 weeks since Event 8, Heads Up Tourney - but here are your results! Congrats to Brian W who ran through the tournament bracket as the only undefeated player of the evening! Brad D finished in second place with only one loss on the night. Joe W collected the third spot of the night, and James R rounded up the top 4. High hand of the evening of kings full of jacks was held by Art A. The first place bounty was not defended due to the heads-up format, so Joseph W will defend his bounty at Event 9 along with Brian. We had a nice turnout for the game, and had a great time with a much different than standard format. Event results and season standings are now online.

Congrats to Joseph W for his second top finish of the season! Joseph took the top spot in Event 7, NL Hold'em, this past Saturday night in round 20. He also finished the evening with 4 hits in the tourney along with high hand of kings full of eights. Matt T collected the second place spot while netting 7 hits on the night. Billy Jack R claimed the third place finish along with 5 hits, and Greg S rounded out the top 4. Noi L collected the first place bounty on Paul P. Great turnout and a lot of fun as always! On April 7, Dark City Poker League and Wild Aces Poker League of Monroe, LA, will be putting together a joint tournament featuring members of both leagues. The game will be No Limit Hold'em and will follow our standard tournament format, however there are no points awarded for this event. It is purely for fun! Seats are extremely limited for this engagement, so be sure to get registered! Dark City league members can contact Greg for more info. Wild Aces league members should contact David.

Congrats to Paul P for his first place finish this past Saturday night at Event 6, 7 Card Stud. Paul capped off the evening at Round 20 while collecting an impressive 7 hits. Jay B collected the second spot of the tourney and collected 4 hits on the night. Greg S finished in third place with 3 hits on the night, Joseph W rounded out the top 4. The first place bounty on Bobby D was collected by Joe W, and our high hand of aces full of eights was held by Ed W. Nice turnout and great to be back on the schedule! We are planning on intra-league event on April 7 that will involve members of the Dark City Poker League and the Redneck Poker League from Northeast LA. This will be a no limit hold'em event and will follow our standard league structure. Seats will be extremely limited! Plan on coming out now! More info to follow. Congrats to Bobby D for his first place finish at Event 5, No Limit Hold'em, on February 11. Bobby survived the field of 24 players and collected the victory in round 17 while collecting 5 hits on the evening. Shane G took the second spot of the evening along with 2 hits on the night. The third spot of the night was awarded to Art A while collecting 3 hits on the way. The fourth spot was collected by Greg S, along with 6 hits in the tourney, along with the first place bounty which was carried by Joseph W. High hand was awarded to Brian W who held aces full of 8s. Congrats to Joseph W for his first place finish this past Saturday night at Event 4, No Limit Omaha. Joseph topped the field of 22 in round 19 while collecting 3 hits on the evening along with the first place bounty on Ed H. James R took the second spot of the tourney and collected 6 hits for the evening. Third place went to Matt T who collected 4 hits, and Syd S rounded off the top 4. High hand of the night was awarded to Brian W who held a jack high straight flush in hearts early in the tourney. Great showing and a lot of fun this past Saturday.
